Srila Prabhupada – We should always understand that granthas, or the scriptures, should be worshiped as God. That is sound incarnation of God . It should not be neglected. Don’t neglect Bhagavad-gita or Bhagavata as ordinary books. You must be very careful. As you take care of the Deities, you should take care of the books also
